Brother I had done my B.E. Civil from Kantipur City College which is affiliated to Purbanchal University. Though the curriculum is best, but due to some conflict in University, the exams and results are delayed more than we expect so I suggest you to choose any University other than Purbanchal. Thank You Best of Luck

You heard right thing brother. TU is best for studying engineering in the sense that it has different department of engineering i.e. IOE which conducts all the activities related to the engineering. You can’t say other universities are not good but TU provides you good education in less price. The exams and results are not delayed. If you get admission in IOE, Pulchowk, you should not be confused. Just go there and start your engineering course. IOE offers total 400+ seats in different field of engineering. There is also scholarship, you can get chance to complete you engineering degree without paying money. But at first you should score good marks in entrance examination conducted by IOE. TU is better than other universities in the sense that it is recognized in many countries. If you want to go abroad after the completion of B.E. then it better for you do B.E. from TU. There are many colleges affiliated to TU so if you pass entrance examination (conducted by IOE) with some good marks, you will get admission.

Hy Aqua, it is true what you heard about college affiliaton, moreover, TU is good affiliaion to study engineering. In Nepal, Kathmandu, there are many TU affiliated colleges which offers engineering course. If you don’t get chance to study in TU then your alternative discission must be KU affiliated colleges. KU affiliated colleges are also good for studying engineering. Also it provides more courses as compare to TU affiliated colleges and is more regular than that of TU. So, you can choose KU as your alternative choice.
If you have any other questions or queries then feel free to ask and post.
Thank you -
i think if you get a chance to read in pulchowk campus then it will better which is affiliated by tribhuvan university(14 colleges). in case if you not get a chance to read in TU affiliated then there is kathmandu university, pokhara university etc..
