I have done 3 months montessori training course from Kathmandu. The fee was Rs. 17000, I got discount of Rs. 2000. I think the cost is in the range of 10000-20000 in the montessori training centres of kathmandu. There is another 6 months course also in which they help for placement in best montessori schools. I really like the montessori training course. It helps a lot for personality development also. i became so polite after taking this three months montessori training course. Hehe

Regarding Montessori Training in Nepal and salary scale of Montessori teachers as far as I know.
With the relentless development in the number and enlistment of Montessori schools far and wide, qualified and experienced Montessori instructors are in great interest these days. Fresh teachers are also in demand with a large number of kids schools opening in every corner of cities and even in some villages too.
Montessori is not just a technique for instructing kids to peruse; it is a theory of life and a teaching that helps kids shape their base for further growth and development.
Montessori educators originate from an extensive variety of foundations and backgrounds. Anyone with any educational background can be a Montessori teacher. There is no any restriction for females who have crossed the minimum age required to be a Montessori teacher (which is 18 years generally)
In numerous parts of the Nepal, at least +2 passed is a prerequisite to get a Montessori education training. However, young girls with 20+ age can also get the training with SLC. But, the chances of getting jobs in good schools is low for them. Candidates who take Montessori training after bachelor’s level especially of education or arts faculty can find a job easily after getting a Montessori training. The training are basically of 1 month, three month, six month and 1 year long. The longer the training period the more is chance of getting a Montessori teacher’s position in a good kids school.
In Nepal, the Government permits educators of preschool kids to instruct without the prerequisite of a professional education. There is no any strong regulation or rules regarding early childhood education (ECD) in Nepal.
Regarding the salary scale of Montessori teachers it varies from 6000-15000 for a fresh teacher depending on the school and from 15000-30000 for Montessori teachers with experience of more than 5 years in good school. Experience in small and no full ECD style schools is not counted as too attractive and impressive for Montessori teachers. So, basically, after a 3 months training you can expect a salary of 6-8k easily if you have a good English proficiency.
