  is it important to do bsc csit or simply learn the skills from other institution

  i wanted to know that is bachelors degree absolutely important? there are these institutions like aptech and others out there offering courses in programming and other IT stuff. these institutions are way more cheaper and faster than the bachelors programme. i mean we do get to learn the skills and knowledge in less than half the time and money and they do say that marks and academics are inferior to skills in IT companies. is the course completion from these institution equivalent to the bachelors degree? i am a +2 student in science and was wondering whether to apply for bachelors or i simply join the institution. i am confused. i would greatly appreciate if anyone out there would relate to my confusion. thank you.
