Is ACCA euqivalent to CA in Nepal. What are the main differences
Hello, Is ACCA equivalent to Chartered Accountancy CA from Nepal board or India board? which course is better? I heard from my friend studying CA from ICAN that CA from ICAN and ICAI is far better than ACCA and ACCA while my brother who lives in France(MBA from France) suggests me to do ACCA. What are the benefits and drawbacks of these courses? Since my target is to go abroad for masters degree and higher studies in Accounting/Finance so what course is better in general and in context of abroad studies. Please make me clear about this.

Nop. ACCA is not equivalent to CA from ICAN or ICAI in Nepal. The main difference is ACCA donot get Auditing license after getting acca membership and also it is fery difficult and long process to get license after acca currently. Other things like course, syllebus etc are similar for all the professional bodies.

Thanks Nabeena ji. Are you ACCA student? What would you prefer between CA and ACCA in Nepal. Can CA course be completed from Nepal? what are the good colleges that run CA course. P.s I am a studious person. 🙂
