Yes. IT students can join MBA in Nepal if they have a formal IT degree. As you have not stated which course in IT you are talking about it is difficult to tell whether you will be eligible for MBA degree after completing the IT course. For all the IT degrees like BIT, Bsc CSIT, BCIS , BE Computer etc, students can join MBA of almost all universities of Nepal TU, PU , KU and on colleges that run MBA of foreign affiliation(I mean doors are open ). BBA is not mandatory to get admission of MBA. Can I know which course of IT you are doing rite now?
Also, I recommend to check the MBA tabs on the MBA section of studentsnepal. Here is the link- https://studentsnepal.tempurl.host/mba-in-nepal/

Thanks a lot for your kind information. I am doing BSC CSIT. I went through the link you provided. In order to study in KU we should have to do bachelor from its affiliated colleges right? Please I got little bit confused in it.

Yes, you can definitively join MBA after studying IT. MBA is a professional degree designed to build the managerial and business skills on the students. The only requirement here is to secure minimum 50% on undergraduate level in any discipline. The course is designed in such a way that students from non- managerial background can also cope with it. If you want to do MBA in Nepal, you have many options like School of Management (TU), KU, PU and other affiliated colleges of PU like Ace, Apex and Uniglobe. There are also colleges affiliated to international university. But in my view it’s better to do for Nepali Universities. These institutions conduct MBA in different specializations like finance, marketing, human resource and entrepreneurship. Another new program conducted by TU is MBA IT.As you are IT student you may be interested in this course. MBA IT program is only conducted by School of Management, TU in Kritipur. It was started in the year 2016 for the first time and is now conducting two batches successfully till now. This program is especially designed for IT students and students who have studied BSc IT, BIT, BCA, BElex, or other IT related course are eligible to apply for this program. Admission opens once a year either in fall or spring. Applicants have to go through the entrance exam conducted by TU. You can get the detailed information about this course in the website of School of Management, TU.
