MPA studies (Masters in Public Administration) is a professional post graduation course. It is equivalent to the private sector’s Masters of Business Management. This program is a professional degree for public sector and it prepares individuals to serve as managers in the executive arm of local, state/ provincial and federal/ national government and increasingly in non governmental organization and non-profit sectors.
MPA is a interdisciplinary subject because it includes fields of economics, sociology, law , anthropology, political science and regional planning in order to equip students or the MPA graduates with skills and knowledge covering a broad range of topics and disciplines relevant to the public sector. This programme focuses on areas of specialization such as Development Administration, human Resource Development, Public Finance & Law and order Administration.

Students who have completed their bachelors level from any discipline from Tribhuwan University or from any other institutions recognized by TU can apply for the MPA Programme.
