MPA studies (Masters in Public Administration) is a professional post graduation course. It is equivalent to the private sector’s Masters of Business Management. This program is a professional degree for public sector and it prepares individuals to serve as managers in the executive arm of local, state/ provincial and federal/ national government and increasingly in non governmental organization and non-profit sectors.
MPA is a interdisciplinary subject because it includes fields of economics, sociology, law , anthropology, political science and regional planning in order to equip students or the MPA graduates with skills and knowledge covering a broad range of topics and disciplines relevant to the public sector. This programme focuses on areas of specialization such as Development Administration, human Resource Development, Public Finance & Law and order Administration.Students who have completed their bachelors level from any discipline from Tribhuwan University or from any other institutions recognized by TU can apply for the MPA Programme.
