Salary scale of bankers in Nepal. How much do bank employees earn in Nepal
Hello everyone, I am wondering on how attractive is the banking sector in Nepal for job and career. How much do commercial banks pay to its employees. I think it is not much difficult to get a entry level job in Banks with good marks and little experience in Audit firm ( I recently joined an audit firm of my uncle now as a junior trainee and will be learning there for few months, part time). I would like to know what is the average pay scale and average salary of banking professionals in banks. Do they have different paying patterns for workers of Kathmandu and workers of other cities/rural areas. I have a keen interest to be a successful banker so want to know the future in Banking sector of Nepal. What benefits other than salary do banks provide in general and Which is the highest paying bank in Nepal. Is it true that working in bank is boring? Any bankers here? Please reply with details. That will help me and others wishing to get in the banking sector. Thanks.

30,000-40,000-50,000 according to your experience on work. Government banks like Rastriya Banijya Bank , Nepal Rastra Bank have attractive benefits along with salary. Private banks are also improving the pay for their employees in recent days.

I think the basic salary of jounior assistants in bank is around Nrs 15000 while senior assistants get around 25000. Some commercial banks pay 50000+ to branch managers. Apart from basic salary, bank staffs also get attractive benefits and bonuses. Many banks provide loan facility to its staffs after completing certain year of service.

A Bank Branch Manager in Nepal typically earns around NRS 50,000 per month. Managers with branched in Kathmandu and cities earn around 80,000-1,00,000 while small branch managers have a salary of about 40,000-60,000. Salaries range from Nrs 40,000 (lowest) to NRs1,50,000 (highest). .Apart from basic salary, managers also get benefits like housing, transportation, loan facility and PF contribution from Banks.
CEO makes Nrs 1 lakh to Nrs 12 Lakhs depending on the bank. I think highest paid CEO is of Standard Chartered Bank currently. Also heard Anil Shah earned 16lakh per month when he was in Mega Bank.
