Nursing course in Nepal is not easy to study. But in Nepal, nurses get more time to do practicals. To study Nursing in Nepal is maybe of low cost but the students can get more experiences than the theories which help the students to do best on their field. And also the payment of nurses in hospitals is decided according to the hospital. In some hospitals like SGNHC, they pay about 28,000 nrs per month for a staff nurse. a senior nurse makes more which is a government hospital. MMCVTVC pays 34,000 per month. The working hours are long –and more $$$ allowance comes with shift work etc. these are the most desirable jobs in Kathmandu. Norvic Hospital for staff nurse payment average is 10,000 nrs per month, Bir Hospital pays 17,000 to 18,000 depends on shift. Om pays 18,000 nrs per month, Patan Hospital pay 22,000. Being a nursing faculty pays nrs 2,000 to 13,000 for beginning faculty, this goes higher if the person has experience. While nursing in abroad is quite difficult through financially as well as mentally also. In abroad nurses are not paid at first they have to work as volunteer in every foreign country. Although, nurses have to struggle a bit to settle in abroad. To study in abroad nurses should apply for scholarships at first else it will be difficult to pay the expenses of universities. Except these things if you are willing to go to abroad for nursing then according to education you can choose abroad but their won’t be more practical hours.
