Yes, you can definitively join MBA after studying IT. MBA is a professional degree designed to build the managerial and business skills on the students. The only requirement here is to secure minimum 50% on undergraduate level in any discipline. The course is designed in such a way that students from non- managerial background can also cope with it. If you want to do MBA in Nepal, you have many options like School of Management (TU), KU, PU and other affiliated colleges of PU like Ace, Apex and Uniglobe. There are also colleges affiliated to international university. But in my view it’s better to do for Nepali Universities. Another new program conducted by TU is MBA IT.As you are IT student you may be interested in this course. MBA IT program is only conducted by School of Management, TU in Kritipur. It was started in the year 2016 for the first time and is now conducting two batches successfully till now. This program is especially designed for IT students and students who have studied BSc IT, BIT, BCA, BElex, or other IT related course are eligible to apply for this program. Admission opens once a year either in fall or spring. Applicants have to go through the entrance exam conducted by TU.
