    Information technology is a growing field in Nepal and with the demand of skilled IT professionals, many new institutions and colleges have been established so far. These colleges provide courses like BSc. It, BSc .It, BCA and BE in Information Technology. As you are concerned about B.Sc. CSIT course, I want to talk about it here. BSc. CSIT is a four year undergraduate course that provides students both the theoretical and practical knowledge related to computer application as well as information technology. It combines the study related to both computer science and information technology. This course combines many elective courses and is of 126 credit hours. In Nepal, this course is conducted by the constituent and affiliated colleges under Tribhuvan University. Some of the popular colleges that offer this course are Prime College, Saint Xavier’s, Patan Multiple Campus, Himalayan Engineering College, Amrit Science Campus, Madhan Bhandari Memorial College, etc. You can search the detailed list of colleges too through internet. In order to apply for this course, you should complete plus 2 or twelve year of schooling in science in at least second division. Students from both the physical and bio group are eligible to apply for the course. Likewise students should appear in the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University. The form related to the entrance exam can be collected from the concerned college in which you tend to apply. Student should secure at least 35% to get enrolled in the college. After the successful completion of entrance exam, student can get admission of the college after submitting the required documents. Generally, the notice of admission for BSc. IT course come after toe result of plus 2 level. You can contact on the colleges after July for the new admission.
